Welcome

The Florida Department of Transportation will widen State Road 7 from two to four lanes between State Road 704/Okeechobee Boulevard and 60th Street North and extend State Road 7 from 60th Street North to Northlake Boulevard. The project consists of two 11-foot travel lanes, 6-foot buffered bike lanes and 6-foot sidewalks in each direction. The project will include a roundabout at Ibis Golf & Country Club, a reconstructed roundabout at 60th Street North, and bridges over the M-Canal and the Ibis Preserve Spillway. Other improvements include milling and resurfacing, drainage improvements, noise walls, fencing, guardrails, traffic signals, lighting, signage and pavement markings.
